EBAY RESEARCH Are you selling on eBay? If so, would you like to increase your sales? How about better profit margins? A little research can go a long way to help you succeed on eBay. Here are three ways to do that including two free methods. 1) eBay Pulse (Free) This will give you a top 10 list of the most popular searches. Don’t forget to use the Category drop-down box to get data on a specific category. There’s limited information here but it can be a starting point. 2) HammerTap (10 day trial) HammerTap has some decent tools to find out what is currently selling on eBay, what kind of listings to use (auction, fixed price, etc.) and other information. It’s worth a try. 3) TeraPeak (Free & Paid) This is definitely the best of the bunch in my opinion. TeraPeak offers some very useful free tools that you can play with. When you click HERE you will see the following screen. Just type in a search word or words in the first place circled in yellow. Try the word wallet if you want. Then click Free Research. No need to enter your email address. After you click that button, spend some type playing around with all the options. Not sure what keywords to type? Try wallet. $39 average price?! Not bad. Now add the word leather. Look at the average selling price for the word genuine. Now type in genuine. Skin has a very high average selling price so type that in. We now see that crocodile has an average selling price over $100. This may be a product worth investigating. |
